so after having looked around and trying a few things, i came up with a brew of lifegain/beatdown with some excellent threat potential. additions i haven't seen very often are the fantastic green/white cascade spells which give you excellent value for mana. your game plan should be something like this: a) drop a warden b) drop a pridemate (immediately pumping the pridemate and netting you 1 life) c) continue to ramp out more wardens and creatures/tokens, all the while gaining life and pumping the pridemates d) scute mob can provide a mid to late game win condition if you're struggling for one. e) with any luck your cascade spells will ramp into something which both pumps the pridemate and gains you life, getting you some serious tempo mid-game. f) if you need to reset the board, throw down a day of judgement and get in there with your low-cost creatures. kitchen finks are awesome after a board wipe because they have persist. khalni garden, emeria angel and garruk are all there to get creature tokens into play to trigger the wardens. they also have other functions besides (i.e. a green mana source, flying beater or a handy planeswalker) to keep the deck on its toes. i considered balefire liege as a synergy card but eventually dismissed it because of its high mana cost. i also tried to fit in Soul's Attendant for EVEN MORE warden effects but i couldn't decide which other cards to cut from the deck, so we're stuck with 8 warden effects rather than 12. oh well.
