Pack rat has been getting really big at times, has won me a fair few games, and drainpipe vermin is reliant on me having the mana available for the effect when it dies. It's a standard deck so inquisition and blackmail are no good, unfortunately, though I do sideboard out the appetites if I come against weenie decks. I believe I now have underworld connections for card draw. Just going to update now

When you have pack rat you're never short of creatures, plus rise from the grave can help me get more
All at once so different creatures that's why all my creatures other than the pilgrim and the elf are flickable. I've never had more than 2 out at once so it's not been a concern so far, but again a valid point. I've only been playing 15 months myself
Oh I agree it's excessive I'm just trying to guarantee the mana ramp to have 5 mana turn 3. Also, armada wurm, geist and acidic are all quite mana specific so better safe than sorry. Thanks for the thought though, maybe I should remove 2 of them for the 2 Armada Wurms?
I see how it's useful to boost up my cheap artifacts it's just kinda expensive to buy and I don't own any. Definitely wouldny say no though. Cheers for the advice
Nice deck, lot of good lifegain there, though I think a little more death in the deck can be good. Take a look at mine, similar kinda life/death black/white deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=327006 though now you have me thinking I should have serra ascendant in my deck, also now considering ajani's pridemate...
cursed monstrosity please!
loving the sanguine blood / exquisite blood infinite combo, or did until I saw the comment which says it makes you lose... nicely done anyway!
Yeah I agree to ditch the 2 stoic rebuttals and 2 vault skirges for 4 turn aside, but do I put them into the main deck (and if so what for?) or leave them as sideboard?
Thanks for that, I was just looking at turn aside today and thinking that would go pretty well for what I want it to do. I don't think I need to bring back the non-creature artifacts that badly, as even if scourglass fails then I have 4 each of go for the throat and dispatch to work with... and I know frantic salvage and remember the fallen are good, but they're both one offs and I like being able to re-use the shard, especially as the only non-creature artifact that generally gets targetted is the scourglass, and I could use turn aside for that. So if I bring in 4 turn aside cards, what do I ditch for them?
Some nice cards didn't know about bramblewood paragon or winnower patrol... only 3 llanowar though? And why is coat of arms not in the main deck??? Also I know leatherback baloth is great value but I think you'd be better off with more elves... heedless one would be a lot better value I think. Pretty good though!
Cheers for the advice, but I kinda thought skeleton shard had that covered? The counters I thought about, I do have stoic rebuttal in my sideboard... any better ones that that? Thanks though :)
