Deck discussion for Torpor Orb Combo

How are you going to cast lord of tresserhorn, you don't have blue

Instead of having so many creatures, I would focus on streamlining the deck around the ones that work the best. Phyrexian Dreadnought and Hunted Horror are really the best, with perhaps a couple Hunted Phantasms as well if you think you need them. Then you could fill in the deck with some counterspells to defend the combo.

Mostly I would just avoid playing any creatures that have a negative effect so dramatic that its likely to lose you the game outright. Yes Torpor Orb can negate the effects, however your opponent can always destroy the Orb in response to you casting something and really screw you over. This rules out stuff like Eater of Days and Sky Swallower, and even Lord of Tresserhorn in my opinion.

Remember, creatures like the Dreadnought are so big that you often only need to get one on the table to win as long as you can defend it from being removed.
