Deck Description

This is designed to burn an opponent in a few turns, with this combo: Turn one: Mountain. Turn two: Mountain, Kiln Fiend. Turn three: Mountain. Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt=9 damage, Kiln Fiend becomes a 10/2. Mutagenic Growth twice on Kiln Fiend, (you take 4 damage), Kiln Fiend becomes a 20/6. They die. OR just use 4 Mutagenic Growths on Kiln Fiend so that it becomes a 21/9 on turn 3.

ALSO: This deck is to be only Type 2 / Standard. Comments and suggestions appreciated!
IT'S ALSO REALLY CHEAP!

not bad personaly the acts and one flame slash could come out and it would put it at 60. drawing a few sample hands its good just seems like it doesnt get the combo that often right off the bat. but it is a very interesting idea. i like it.

There are two combos in this deck: Kiln Fiend with instants (or Chandra) and then using Act of Treason on their powerful creatures, attacking with it, and then flinging it (that takes longer though).

I'd suggest adding creatures in to be safe. I see you have artillerize, but it's not useful if you cannot use it. There are also quite a lot of burn spells, so having the planeswalker chandra, the firebrand in this might help out.

Also, don't think about your combo in terms of turns if you're going standard with it. Try to find more cards that can actually work with multiple other cards in your deck.

You also need to make some more mana. 22 should be just enough.

I wish I could have Chandra too. XD Also, the plan is to use Artillerize not only on my own creatures, but theirs as well (Act of Treason). I can also use my Goblin Fireslinger as a blocker, then tap him to deal one damage, then artillerize him. This causes the creature it is blocking to still be blocked, and I take no damage even if they have trample.

Well, it's more because I'm thinking of how the card can be used. Incidentally, try reverberate instead. it is a godly card for any red player out there, IMO. I mean, being able to copy spells on a whim whenever you want could put other players in trouble and more wary of how much cards you still have. Of course, this is another rare.

Try looking for other cards that also contain burn on a stick or something. If you cannot use your burn, you're not going to do a lot.

Fire servant? I run fire servant, and it's safe to say the thing is ridiculous. Arc trail is also handy for destroying multiple creatures.

If I could get my hands on some Arc Trails that'd be awesome. I have one fire servant, so that's why he isn't in yet.

Part of the point was not needing much mana (everything costs 4 or less), but I could go for more of a creature based burn. If I did, I would add in goblin arsonists and goblin grenades. Remember, I'm also going for cheap and quick. :D Thanks for the suggestions.
