This is an extremely good deck, Probably the best I have seen you post. Cursecatcher I am not into, Merfolk Looter would probably work better aswell as adding some fetchlands in place of Islands, Spell Snare is nice, but I think Counterspell in general will serve better here since you have the Aether Vials. Stifle can go sideboard. Great Job! I am really impressed. +1

thank you very much :-) i've never played in a legacy tournament, though i have played a good number of casual games. It's meant to be competitive and a serious deck. :-)

Its good, trust me. I like Red Fish Blue Fish. This deck style, just adding in Red for burn and control and Whirlpool Warrior.

hmm looked at some red cards, it's tempting but i am not sure, i really like the deck the way it is, in terms of it's strengths etc. However, it's important to build an optimum deck, not based on what i like, it's whats powerful. I wil research and play test, and will make a decision!

In deed, and your right. Its not all about what you like, theres more to liking a card than just art. I love effects because you can take those effects on cards and make them into something imaginable. Like... Wrath of God in general is boring, imagine what it looks like going off? Much better.

When it comes to Legacy, there are certain strategies you sideboard for. Graveyard (A MUST), Artifact and Enchantment (A MUST), Aggro (Depends on where and who you play usually), and Combo (A MUST). Always think like that, I usually keep my sideboard down to 5 Different cards at MAX but going 4 of a single card is perfectly fine. 1 and 2 are just so hard to get especially when you need em badly.

ok thanks, as i say m just learning to build a legacy deck, the sideboard was posted very quickly with minimal thought. I've only played standard and a little bit of extended up to now. i want totry out my skills at legacy, i'm decent in standard i got into the top 8, not in a major event, but some of the best people in Scotland were playing. Not that Britain has that many good magic players anymore, but their still good enough :-)

I would run, for you since your playing straight blue: Mindbreak Trap, Relic of Progenitus, Propoganda, and Stifle. Something for everyone there. You could add more Jitte though like you have now because that card is just..... ugh... its fucking stupid lol!
