Deck discussion for Lifegain

this is casual play right? In a tournement it will be overran with cards like thrinax or broody. You should also be aware that day of judgement shuts this deck down in the even you run into a zoo player. Try running more white cards like the enchantment that lets you gain 8 life or something from M10.

Hmm, I say add in 2x Necromancer's Covenant, 2x Sanguine Bond, and take out the Child of Night completely. Creatures are easily dealt with; however Enchantments arent.

Have at least 22 Land in your deck, that way you can draw lands when you need them, and don't have to constantly wait for them. That, and a majority of your cards are harder to bring out due to higher mana costs.

Sign in Blood is good for draw power. You're gaining life, so a loss of two life is no big.

That's my take on a Black/White life-based deck.

Please take out Baneslayers. They are making me cry. Try some other spells, like charvitar's or bloodchief ascension.
