How to Play

First play Monastery Swiftspear whenever possible, then drop Mardu Ascendancy and Butcher of the Horde asap. If the opponent manages to survive long enough, any of the planeswalkers will win you the game.

Ideal setup:
Turn 1 Mountain, Swiftspear, swing for 1
Turn 2 Swamp, Swiftspear, Despise, swing for 4
Turn 3 Plains, Ascendancy, swing for 6
Turn 4 Pain land, Butcher, sac goblin for haste, swing for 13, sac a blocked goblin for lifelink
Turn 5 Mountain, Sarkhan, rollup, swing for lethal

Sideboard in whatever removal will best destroy their deck, taking out the more expensive cards first to make the deck play faster... I usually take out 1 Sarkhan, 1 Ajani, 1 Butcher, 1 Ankle Shanker, Brimaz and Zurgo to bring in 6 cards (next drops are the three gods and the pair of Battle Mastery).
Erase and Shatter are great combo breakers
Utter End is always good if you're still not 100% sure what they might bring that you have to kill
Bile Blight is perfect for any deck that creates tokens or swarms mana dorks,
Hero's Downfall is there more for Planeswalkers than creatures (I need another one to replace Murderous Cut)
Crackling Doom and Lightning Bolt can both finish off an opponent who manages to stall your game
Mardu Charm is just plain useful, another utility card added to the lineup.

Deck discussion for Mardu Murda 3.4

Great deck, you've got some preety nice cards. Ankle shanker is a great card, but the cost of mana is preety high as well. The rabblemaster is a excelent card but is easly destroyed by another creature, i think it should be better in a goblins deck. But the de k is so op, those 5 planeswalkers and those gods are so strong. Congrats

as for rabblemaster, with ankle shanker he's a lot more protected and harder to kill, and if there's only one out he doesn't have to attack. with iroas, he's immortal. with ascendancy, the goblins just keep coming and he's insanely strong; the synergies are all over the place :P
