I know that you are taking your deck in a different direction, but this might help out for some ideas also: http://www.mtgvault.com/viewdeck.php?did=8390 Also, since you are running Royal Assassin, or any other tap/kill assassins, you might consider Thornbite Staff instead of the cloak.
Wow, thanks, great idea... I was going more for a Plague of Vermin/Essence Warden combo, but your idea sounds more cruel.
Thrumming Stone should be in all relentless rats decks...I recommend that.
Ahhh... *dreams* Once I am no longer a poor college student.
lol @ funny bonus :D
Any reason why there are forests & islands? I really like this deck...
Yeah...I made it before I thought of that...I will be saving up for a while...haha.
Hm...I see what you mean. Now that I think of it more...Barbed Shocker would be awesome.
I would trim it down to 60 cards...there's no reason to have more than 60.
Animate Dead is a great alternative to beacon of unrest if you are looking for something cheaper. Not as good, but still works.
I would switch sudden impact with more discard. It seems out of place when everything else is based on emptying their hand...since your sideboard is 4 cards over, maybe put the hypnotic specters in your deck instead?
I think you may want some card draw here since this deck relies on casting spells constantly... Jace Beleren might be a good choice or Kami of the Crescent Moon...also, maybe even something simple like ponder would be good.
Stone-tongue isn't that good since he has to actually deal damage to kill things...it wouldn't be as bad with a blanchwood, but I like the others better personally.
Considered putting Wort, Boggart Auntie in there? It might help refill your hand with the Mogg War Marshals and Mogg Fanatics. Also, Deathrender would be sweet instead of the Warhammer since you can sac something and then put something else into play for free with it equipped. Just some thoughts, but I like it.
I would focus on trimming down the deck to 60 cards - 77 cards is a lot to have in a deck. You have some good cards, but I'm not sure that they all work together properly. Next time you play with the deck, I suggest making a mental note of cards that you draw and didn't want or were disappointed in. This way you can take them out later or replace them with ones you like. I might recommend Reiver Demon over Lord of the Pit as well if you don't have a constant source of creatures to sac.
Interesting...I agree about the Wings.
