I did my research for a long time finding what colors I should play and what clans I aligned with. I found this fitting since I started playing in the Khans of Tarkir block. My searches led me to the Abzan Houses, the wielders of green, white, and black mana who honor their families and endurance. I appreciated their strength of their numbers, the capability of just one spell to become massive in an instant, and the relationship with others to become successful.I modeled this deck with that in mind. The cards were chosen so that they depend on each other. Such as using Abzan Falconer or Abzan Battle Priest to give an upper hand to all my creatures in conjunction with the outlast mechanic that works well on its own as well as with others. Spear of Heliod hastens the effectiveness of Abzan Falconer and Abzan Battle Priest. Ivory tusk Fortress takes advantage of my creatures so they can attack and defend, Spirit Bonds and Abzan Ascendancy make my creatures more useful and an occasional indestructible creature for extra measure.
