Deck Description

R/U burn/mill deck focused around Mindmoil.

For those that don't understand the idea of the deck, you have to read the rulings on Mindmoil and really focus on the card.

Whenever you cast a spell, Mindmoil's ability triggers. The ability will resolve before the spell does.

After Mindmoil's ability triggers, players may cast instants and activate activated abilities. Each time you cast an instant spell "in response," Mindmoil's ability triggers again.

After Mindmoil's ability resolves, but before the spell that triggered it does, you can cast instants from your new hand of cards. Each time you do, Mindmoil's ability triggers again.

So essentially, you play Mindmoil and then play away with all your one drop spells.

The deck doesn't need Mana Flare to run, but it definitely increases the potential of the deck. If need be, run some kind of boomerang spell to return it so your opponent doesn't get the Mana Flare, that is after you're done with it.

Then, Jace's Erasure also adds some insult to injury.

Cast Lightning Bolt
Mindmoil triggers
You draw x cards and your opponent mills x cards.
Before Lightning Bolt resolves, cast another spell (Each spell in the deck is 1 or 2 mana)
Draw x cards, opponent mills x cards.

Repeat process as you deem fit, or until you can finish them off with a Brain Freeze easily.

Sideboarded Stitch in Time. Could be a fun card with this deck. Same with thought Reflection. Both have potential to be a lot of fun but Thought Reflection is too hefty of a cost (The 3 blue mana really hold it back, even with a mana flare I don't feel safe running it.), and stitch in time isn't guaranteed to work.

Once I actually build and order this deck, I'll let people know how well it works. For other r/u fun, check out my draw deck that also abuses Mindmoil.

Deck discussion for Mindmoiling fun

rite of flame, any of those, desperate ritual, seething song, those seem like they you be bad ass here. Way better than the mana flare.

I didn't think about Rite of Flame. I have a playset from a deck I took apart, too. Good call.
