This is a Standard U/B control deck. Sorry guys I know it's been awhile since I put out my last deck, which was such a hit so thank you guys. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Also I tried to keep it low price I know I could and should throw Jace in there, feel free to. Enjoy
Just play a standard control deck, this means using all your removal to keep the board clear of creatures your opponent plays while countering any spells they play. Control decks love card draws that's why i put an ObNix in the deck.Bring back Awaken spells with Halimar and drop counters on the Thing in the IceUse Duress and Pick the Brain early or late to remove threats and counter spells.Use from under the floorboards to create zombie tokens and gain life, then you can use Kalitas to sac the tokens and boost Kali to gain lots of life and swing bigBuild up to your big boys. Use Dragonlord to take over their creatures. Use Icefall To tap their creatures so you can swing big.Keep them safe with good removal, remember health is just a resource don't feel the need to rush anything a good control deck shines late game shutting them down completely. Also, control decks biggest part is their sideboard. Guys I hope you enjoy comment and like.

While I like the general idea, I think the deck lacks focus. I would rather focus on having more consistency in form of more 3 and 4-ofs.

I actually just proxyed this deck, and utterly ruled everyone i played, the decks focus is removal and counter spell that's the whole idea behind it. Maybe if you go more in depth on how you would change it, i would be willing to change the list but as of right now, i haven't lost yet. This deck is heavy focus on early removal and big end game
Sure, here is my problems with the deck, from simply looking at the list. Dragonlord Silumgar, Halimar Tidecaller, Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet. They are 1-ofs, which mean you are highly unlikely to see them in a game without tutoring. I would simply scrap those 3 and add 2 more Thing in the Ice, and use the last one to add another Duress. You got no zombies, so I would scrap Compelling Deterence and Add 2 Ruinous Path, since Compelling Deterence doesn't fit in a control deck as it is a tempo card, hard removal would be better as it is not card disadvantage. From Under the Floorboards is another card I would scrap for one more Duress (going to 4) and a Scatter of the Winds.
Okay yea I see what you mean, Now It is a removal-draw control deck, which means i will be burning through cards faster than a wildfire in August. So the name of the game is heavy removal until i come upon those creature cards and its all over for them at that point. I like your idea about compelling deterrence as a tempo not control so will definitely change that. FUTF is a card that produces zombies which will boost Kali also life link is so important. FUTF is know as a finisher for control. I have a few spells with awaken so that's why I'm playing Halimar. Cheap Jace hahahah. Made some changes
The main reason I dislike FUTF is that you already got a lot of win conditions for a control deck, they simply aren't needed. Also, you might want some additional card draw, which was a thing I overlooked before. Dropping Kalistas, Silumgar, and FUTF, would allow you to add 4 Pieces of the Puzzle, which would add to your card draw. The downside is that it sends cards to the graveyard, but since you are running some Delirium cards as well, it is not all bad. Using awaken cards as a win condition also fits with Pieces of the Puzzle, since they don't fall into the graveyard.
