big Boros deck I have constructed for game day. It simply sprouted from the fact that I really wanted to play both Aurelia and Legions Initiative, the boros mythics. This deck can be both very offensive, with large hasty threats and burn to back it up, as well as defensive, using the first strike from Ash Zealot defensively and siding into Tajic for his indestructibility. Aurelia is just that, she ends games.
Deck can come crashing out of the gates, but it never spits out its hand in three turns and prays that the Supreme Verdict never comes.Legions initiative boosts almost all the creatures completely. All 2 and 3 drops become generally awesome with this aura. They can also pull double duty as both good defenders and offensive creatures.I'd often go T2 initiative, T3 Firstblade, hit you for 5, then on turn 4 depending on the deck you are facing you can keep the wrath protection up and continue hitting with your hill giant, or play more offensive/defensive depending on the situation. Your creatures are often much larger than anticipated and hit very hard. Its easy to play defense with 4/4 reckoners and 3/2 first striking Ash Zealots.

Nice deck, just one thing. I really don't rate Firstblade or Skynight and I know their hasty ability is useful but I'd bring in a Mauler then either a Silverblade or a Medic. This is my Boros Human deck if you've got time to take a look: http://www.mtgvault.com/lordsunfin/decks/standard-human-boros/

Mauler is good, but if I wanted to play that, I wouldnt have included Aurelia, the Warleader and so much big removal. This deck doesnt need to blitz. I do think Frontline Medic is a worthy addition to the 75 though. I needed something to side out the Firstblade against very aggressive opponents, and I think a 3/3 for 3 that happens to counter revelations will be just fine.I dont play the Paladin because Legions Initiative doesnt pump it, and hence its a bad play after going T2 Legion. Its also very vulnerable to burn spells, so it just doesnt always pull the weight that its supposed to do in christmasland scenarios.
Yeah fair enough, glad to be of use :).
