zenith doesnt kill malira or my creatures because it gives creatures -1/-1 counters. as for the phyrexian mana, if you dont have enough life to cast the spell you cant pay life into it. and i keep the black mana because having a 13+/13+ creature for 1 mana sounds like a good thing. haha
just had it brought to my attention that once you reach 0 life you no longer have life to pay into phyrexian mana. however i still think the dragon might work as a one turn smasher / self damage to make death's shadow stronger.
My original plan with postmortem was to use it as a late game 2 drop to get in with a death's shadow. Triumph was there in case they had blockers. But now that you mention it i do like the idea of just pumping as much as i want into a dragon and not caring.
