FNM - 5th October 2012 Match 1 - Mono Black Discard 0-0-1 Game 1 - 1-0 I went 1-0 rather quickly not really seeing much of his deck. No creatures came down a few mind rots hit me but apart from that he didn't really do much. I went turn 1 Index into 2 Lands 2 Bonfire of the Damned and 1 Entreat the Angels. I set it up so I drew the lands then 1 Bonfire of the Damned , Entreat the Angels and a Bonfire of the Damned at the end to clear the way for any potential threats and I just beat face for the win. I sided out my Pillar of Flames for 2 Negates and a Judge's Familiar not really sure what to expect but my thinking was I didn't see any creatures so I would safe on that front and Terminus would be enough. Game 2 - 1-1 He opened with Shrieking Affliciton which okay I sorta guessed I might come across but now I had to be very careful with my plays as I now had no way of getting rid of that enchantment until next sideboard. I had to muligan down to 5 cards but the keep was good 3 lands, Index and Thought Scour. Index turn 1 into 5 lands. Not great and with only the 1 Thought Scour in hand and no Snapcaster Mage to reoccur the Thought Scour that was game right there but I played it out but he made short work with my hand with a turn 2 Ravenous Rats turn 3 Mind Rot. Game 3 - 1-2 Going into the third game I sided out my Terminus for a package of Devastation Tide hoping I can at least bounce the enchantments for a turn or two. Again I had to muligan down to 5 with a 7 and 6 card hand with no lands with me opting to play I didn't want to keep. This game followed the same as the above except I managed to drag it out slightly longer and managed to start to stabilse around turn 6 with me dropping Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius thinking all I needed was 1 turn with him and I would manage to refill my hand and hopefully swing for lethal but he topped decked a Murder and that was game. Match 2 - U/R Izzet Delver 1-0-1 Game 1 - 1-0 Was a close one with them winning the roll and opting to play first dropping a turn 1 Delver of Secrets Flip, Flipping turn 2 and playing a Augur of Bolas into a turn 3 Guttersnipe I had pretty much admitted defeat then I top decked a Terminus managed to stabilse and with a next turn Entreat the Angels that had won me the game. Game 2 - 2-0 Going into game 2 I brought in 2 Judge's Familiar and took out Terminus and Syncopate thinking the Judge's Familiar can be used as early blockers or used to counter any Bonfire of the Damned or any counter magic I might see. They opted to play first again and had no plays till turn 3 dropping a Guttersnipe that I already had a Pilar of the Flame in my hand. The game went very in my favour once I removed the Guttersnipe I played Tamiyo, the Moon Sage into Jace, Architect of Thought and just controlled the board until I hit Entreat the Angels for game. Match 3 G/W Selensya Aggro - 2-0-1 Game 1 - 1-0 Game 1 was rough and I thought I had lost with them going turn 1 Avacyn Pilgrim into turn 2 Loxodon Smiter turn 3 Silverblade Paladin but a Terminus off the top took care of that board position followed up by a next turn Entreat the Angels once the angels hit the field I was able to control the board by dropping Syncopate and Snapcaster Mage into Syncopate so my Angels had a clear through swing. Game 2 - 2-0 Game 2 I took out 1 Pillar of Flame for a Electrickery and I was uncomfortable with my sideboard choice but I wasn't really sure what else I could afford to bring in. They opted to draw so I went first into a turn 1 Index finding 2 lands, Tamiyo, the Moon Sage, Jace, Architect of Thought and a Bonfire of the Damned. I set it up so next turn land into a Bonfire of the Damned next turn to get ride of any mana dorks. I managed to controll the field with the Tamiyo, the Moon Sage into Jace, Architect of Thought duo. I did manage to miracle several Entreat the Angels but she must of sided in Terminus to deal with my angels but no bother I managed to ultimate Jace, Architect of Thought stealing her Thragtusk and beat face to win. Match 3 R/B Vampires - 3-0-1 Game 1 - 0-1 Game 1 I muligan down to 6 keeping a 2 land hand with Jace, Architect of Thought, Thought Scour,, Pilar of Flame and Snapcaster Mage . They turned one Stromkirk Nobel I found no answers especially after they equipped Inquisitor's Flail I was done for. Game 2 - 1-1 I sided out Snapcaster Mage for 2 Devastation Tide for abit more board control. They had to muligan down to 4 with me keeping my opening 7 cards. I managed to Entreat the Angels for 1 on turn 3 and turn 4 Jace, Architect of Thought stopping most of her critters doing damage to me whilst my single Angels won me the game with her finding no removal. Game 3 - 2-1 I took out a Devastation Tide and brought in a Negate fearing for any kind of enchantment or discard spells. This game went the same way except I managed to ultimate Jace, Architect of Thought stealing her Bloodline Keeper Flip and making Vampire tokens with an Entreat the Angels was just an amazing way to finish the first night of the new standard! Summary 3-0-1 Overall I was happy with the way my deck performed but I think I was let down on my sideboard tech. I have never really been that good at creating sideboards so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I won't use Syncopate... The concept of this deck is a little instabil, but it seems quite effective... 2 Tamiyo would be enough... Here is my R/U/W miracle deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=391170 It's a 2nd version of my ever most succesful deck "Havenfire" wich went out of standard now... The 2 decks R very different tho...

What do you feel could take Syncopates slot? I was thinking maybe a few Detention Sphere? Thought if I lose the Syncopates i would wanna lose the Snapcaster Mage as I feel though wouldn't be as effective. Though the Syncopates helped me deal with non-creature permanents that I didn't want hitting the field. Also how have you been finding Index? I'm finding so much love for it in the early turns to help put my miracles further down the pile until I get the mana fixed right especially for Entreat the Angels. Mid-game though I do find myself drawing a Index and sighing.
