Deck Description

Punish you for bringing creatures out and letting them die. Then get the army of vampires out to finish you off. Keeping it standard.

Going to add Vampire Nighthawk and Vampire Nocturnus in M13 in place of the Bloodlord and Child of Night.
Any help would be nice..

Deck discussion for Vampire

I would sideboard killing wave, you want to maintain board presence so you dont want to kill your creatures. Since you have cavern of souls, id say add a couple dragonskull summits in place of a couple swamps, then add stromkirk captain. He makes any vampire extremely dangerous.

While i love bone splinters, you may want to drop those, you dont want to sacrifice any of your own creatures.

If you add the stromkirk captains, while it weakens nocturnus, stromkirk nobles are really good one drops to have. I would look into replacing falkenrath nobles, theyre way slower than blood artist, try adding vampire interloper, or something of that sort.

Good deck though, I love seeing vampire decks, and this is among the more effective decks ive seen :)

Thanks, I just added the bone splinters recently to use with undying evil and haven't even had a chance to try it to see if it would work. I figure use bone splinters to kill 2 creatures with blood artist out and get my creature back with a +1/+1 on it.
Killing wave has been my real winner lately, so I'm surprised you'd say to take it out. I do see your point though with keeping creatures on the battlefield. I have been debating about adding the captain and your comment seems to persuade me to do so.
