Deck Description

Standard Esper Control.

*The deck is Standard, it's not a fast deck, don't hate on that*

How to Play

Standard Esper Control.

Standard is a slow format, don't expect this deck to be killing people on Turn 3.
You have your options, the 4x in this deck are Augur of Bolas, Supreme Verdict, Think Twice, and Azorius Charm. Pretty straightforward, you just remove your opponents creatures that are a threat, and slowly mill your opponent through Nephalia Drownyard or Jace, Memory Adept. I added Drogskol Reaver to have the option of winning by dealing damage too. I like the fact that late game, you have the option to pull him out, draw 6 every time he hits, and win by attacking rather than mill.

Augur of Bolas or Snapcaster Mage paired with Restoration Angel can give you some serious combos, or you can just Flash her in and block a 3/3 creature.

Sideboard:

3x Angel of Serenity is removal, a 5/6 creature and flicker capable. Everything you want in a control deck.
2x Duress if you are having trouble against other decks that abuse instant or sorceries.
1x Jace, Memory Adept if you want to go for that mill strategy.
1x Negate and Dispel, counter instant and sorcery cards.
1x Rest in Peace is really good against graveyard-based decks.
3x Witchbane Orb, counter-curses.
1x Drogskol Reaver, more chance to pull him.
3x Gloom Surgeon, its good if you're against a strong creature and you are in a life or death situation. Negate the damage and mill yourself. It's better than losing the game, obviously.
