Deck Description

Infect t2 deck i threw together. Just finished cutting the deck down to 60 card , added more green buffs and got rid of effective creatures and cards resulting in dead draws. after a couple games i found the deck to be more consistent and much faster , often resulting in a t4 win.

Deck discussion for Infect

Nim and Cystbearer are too expensive and generic. Putrefax is meh, too expensive for something that seems like it would be 2 cheaper in red. Swarmlord seems cool but in practice takes too long to get out, the Infect decks work best when it's quick drops followed with quick buffs and removal.

Add Putrid Stinger and Whispering Specter for fliers. I like Plague Myr too for a little mana ramp. Mutagenic Growth, Titanic Growth, Dark Favor, and Virdian Claw make great buffs/auras/equip. Glistener Elf is great, you just need more of them. Mimic Vat can also be a lot of fun with Ichor Rats.

Contagion Clasp is helpful, especially when against pro black/green. You're playing black, so get removal like Go For the Throat and Virulent Wound. I sideboard Geth's Verdict in case you're up against an artifact deck.

Your deck seems like it has a lot of 'this would be cool' rather than 'this will get me what I need to win every time.' Basically, trim out cards and then bump most of them to 3x or 4x. You want to have consistent draws and plays.

Example: Turn 1: Forest + Glistener Elf. Turn 2: Swamp + Dark Favor (Swing, 4 Infect). Turn 3: Whispering Specter (Swing again, possible green buffs). Turn 4: Swing both, sac Whispering and make opponent discard 4-5 cards. That's a terrible and very effective combo.
