Deck Description

Infect opponent(s) as quickly as possible with Plague stinger, then either swing w/ Thrummingbird (and plague stinger) next turn or start controlling the game with Tumble Magnet. After one infect counter is on desired opponent, take a defensive stance. Don't be bothered playing creatures just to block, corpse cur has you covered, and if he doesn't come through employ tumble magnets and lux cannon to cover your ass. Hold off until there's good proliferate or you have overwhelming creatures to go on the offensive. The deck can take a lot of damage and come back for a decisive win. A bit of a steep mana curve, but if this deck lasts the first four turns it usually wins.

Deck discussion for infect/proliferate

Carnifex demon doesn't help with your strategy and a few doom blades does wonders... but i like where your going with this .

Thanks for the thought Dan. Initially I didn't include Carnifex Demon, but after trying with him in the deck he worked surprisingly well. He's great with proliferate, as long as you leave at least one -1/-1 counter on him. At that point he's a win condition himself. Systematically add and remove counters, destroy all other creatures, and swing for 3, 4, or 5 a turn.

not necessarily a bad idea, but all the same its not very smart. putting noninfect creatures with infect guys is just asking for trouble, unless u can give them infect. skin renders are fine and all, but when it gets down to crunch time, u wont have anything but chump blockers. PS u cant run Dimir Aqueduct in standard. dont ruin a potentiallt T2 deck by putting in that one legacy card, which i see way too often among newer decks these days. Run Drowned Catacombs. theyre twice as fast, and with infect, u dont need a shitload of land anyway. unless ur running Blightsteel.
