Deck Description

TROLLBLADE! Taking all the good cards out of u/w cawblade and replacing them with bad ones :P. The deck still kicks a bit of ass though.

I mean seriously, who needs TMS when you've got Garruk.

Note: The leyline of Sanctity is only in the sideboard because of valakut and mono red burn, other wise its pointless, so take it out if you know your not vs'ing those decks.

Deck discussion for Green white cawblade (trollblade) - Standard

what do you mean "a bit of ass"? this is a really solid deck dude. really like the mana curve. the only thing i see a little off is the actual amount of mana. your running 41%. a good standard runs between 35% and 38% which is like 20-22 cards usually for a 60 card deck. still this deck looks pretty solid dude!

Thanks, in reference to the amount of land in the deck, I believe 24-26 is standard for a control deck at the moment, generally because you have ways of filtering the deck. Also because of tech edges and man-lands etc. I am only stating what I have been told by people far better then me :).

A friend also suggested cobra's instead of cultivate, and 3 of each fetchland. And a baloth. Testing this new deck tonight.

i have to agree with you now on the 40% lands now haha. i just tried it for a my U/W bounce deck and it works so much better with the opening hand mana count. but i guess if you're using cobras or anything else that'll slim down the deck thatd be good like marsh flats or misty forest (i think).. they'll also help the cobras! :D
