a midrange deck utilizing the colors of black and red
when you first view this deck the card that you might first question is drown in sorrow. one might ask why would you play drown in sorrow over anger of the gods? the answer is simple; phyrexian obliterator, the best creature in the deck, would require me to sacrifice three permanents which is a no. the deck utilizes dark dwellers for the snapcaster like effect. kalitas is a good card due to the many kill spells. phyrexian obliterator wins games. in matches my opponents have been hesitant to block obliterators and burn spells are deadly to the caster when targeting obliterator. of course it has the madcap platinum emperion combo. surgical extraction actually won me a round against infect but its in there to get rid of annoyances also in the deck is hand disruption spells.
