I just learned a new trick (some of you may already know it) and decided to make a deck with it. New Trick I Learned: 1. Cast Infernal Tutor 2. In response to casting Infernal Tutor sacrifice Lion's Eye Diamond (hopefully toss a creature into graveyard when you have to discard your hand due Lion's Eye Diamond) 3. Infernal Tutor now can be hellbent so now have 3 mana of any color whcih can now be used to find and cast either Shallow Grave or Corpse Dance. 4 Bring back creature put into graveyard with Shallow Grave or Corpse Dance. Name: Infernal Tutor Cost: 1B Reveal a card from your hand. Search your library for a card with the same name as that card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library. Hellbent — If you have no cards in hand, instead search your library for a card, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library. Lion's Eye Diamond Artifact, 0 Sacrifice Lion's Eye Diamond, Discard your hand: Add three mana of any one color to your mana pool. Activate this ability only any time you could cast an instant. Other fun combo's in deck Painter's Servant + Iona, Shield of Emeria Dark Ritual + Entomb + Exhume My advanced tech weapon in the deck is Sundial of the Infinite This is a one card combo that can act like a one sided City of Solitude at the cost of your being able to only cast one spell per turn if you would deny opponent ability to response to you casting a spell. It also can be used to prevent exiling of creature reanimated by Shallow Grave or Goryo's Vengeance by you letting exile effect trigger and put on the stack, than wipe it with Sundial of the Infinite. Note, this is a deliberately low mana deck. You should mulligan for at least two swamps to play the deck safely.

So, I asked my local judge, and basically here's how it works; lion's eye diamond's ability stacking or not stacking is irrelevant. what is relevant, however, is that regardless of the fact that infernal tutor is now hellbent, it was still put on the stack BEFORE emrakul's shuffle trigger. therefore emrakul will shuffle before infernal tutor resolves. just because it is now hellbent, doesn't mean that it will re-stack. sorry man :/
Hey no problem EthanLewis, Thanks for checking with Judge. This just means I didn't understand the trick completely. Trick will still work with creatures that don't shuffle themselves back into the library after hitting the graveyard. Will make a few modifications to adjust to the information. Wiill change Goryo's Vengeance to Corpse Dance and replace Emrakul with Pathrazer of Ulamog and fix introduction to reflect new understanding. Thanks again for taking the time to enlighten me.
no worries man, it will work no doubt with a creature that doesn't shuffle, where it will just hit the grave and thats it haha.
