The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

Once I discovered Mornsong's ability; Players can't draw cards. I knew I wanted to find a way to prevent opponent from being able to play any more cards for the rest of the game. Here are the combos I came up with.

Erayo, Soratami Ascendant flipped to Erayo's Essence + Maralen of the Mornsong = opponent will only be able to play any cards left in hand and if they have no cards in hand they can't draw or play any more cards for rest of game!!!!

Erayo, Soratami Ascendant flipped to Erayo's Essence + Arcane Laboratory = opponent can't play any more cards for rest of game!!!!!

Maralen of the Mornsong + Funeral Charm = Opponent basically loses draw for turn unless card searched for by opponent was an instant.

Erayo, Soratami Ascendant
Legendary Creature — Moonfolk Monk 1/1, 1U (2)
Flying
Whenever the fourth spell of a turn is cast, flip Erayo, Soratami Ascendant.

Erayo's Essence
Legendary Enchantment, 1U (2)
Whenever an opponent casts a spell for the first time in a turn, counter that spell.

Maralen of the Mornsong
Legendary Creature — Elf Wizard 2/3, 1BB (3)
Players can't draw cards.
At the beginning of each player's draw step, that player loses 3 life, searches his or her library for a card, puts it into his or her hand, then shuffles his or her library.

Arcane Laboratory
Enchantment, 2U (3)
Each player can't cast more than one spell each turn.

What 1 cards should I add to complete deck?

That would be nice to find using Mornsong's ability; At the beginning of each player's draw step searches his or her library for a card, puts it into his or her hand, then shuffles his or her library.

Hi Genisphere,

Glad you like the deck. Leveler and Lab Maniac are very nice twosome. But I'm looking for a 1 card finisher.

I was thinking more like Blightsteel Colossus or Emrakul, the Aeons torn, Grave Titan, Wormcoil Engine,
Morphling, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Lilianna Vess, and so forth...

Ghastlord of Fugue could work

Right colors, fits the theme and is unblockable.

Hey JerodMacDonald,

Thanks for input. Ghastlord is definate possibility.

Sort of suprised you removed your "To hell with your spells" deck it was a decent deck build around the same combo this deck is base on Erayo's Essence + Arcane Laboratory.

The more I look at this deck the more I'm tempted to remove Mornsong and Funeral Charm and up the Noxious Revival, Arcane Laboratory to 4 each and maybe turn the deck into a monoblue deck.

I fact, I think I'll post a mono-blue version of this deck and add the traditional combo card for arcane laboratory Ertai, Wizard Adept.

Oh Jerod, keep posting I know your decks haven't gotten a lot of recognition, but I think you've got the makings of a great deck builder.

May you always make your own good luck,
