A lot of threats and spot removal. Connections and Ajani to dig, Vraska and bodies to create threats that must be dealt with quickly. Very fun to play!
Some cards I never would think to play together. I'm thinking about replacing Fleecemane Lion with Scavenging Ooze. It's easier to cast on turn 2 with this mana base, and grow really fast, however the interaction with Whip is diminished if they are both trying to work at the same time. Any advice and/or feedback is quite welcomed.

Any suggestions to get rid of Archangel of Thune is especially appreciated. Spending nearly $50 on 2 cards that are on their way out doesn't appeal to me at all. Hard to deny the synergy, though.

Obzedat, Ghost Council is one of the best mid-rangey cards in these colors. Drops same turn as Archangel, too. Given, the +1/+1 counters are brutal, but Obzedat can win games alone even more easily IMO.
Obzedat, ohhhh Obzedat. I was heavily considering it for a quite a while as I was building the deck. I felt like for 5CMC I wanted something to end the game quicker in those grindy matchups. I went with Vraska, Obzedat might be a better choice, but this is also cheaper. We will see! Thanks for the feedback.
Definitely. I think Junk right now has easily the best creature pool in the set. A mid-range brew like this probably uses it best, as you get the chance to bring out the nasty removal spells as well as the scary creatures. You have access to Voice of Resurgence, Scavenging Ooze, Pack Rat, Fleecemane, Sylvan Caryatid, Courser of Kruphix, Brimaz, Desecration Demon, Polukranos, Archangel, Blood Baron, Obzedat, etc. I think the number of options is the only thing keeping it from dominating more than it does. So I'd say your guess is as good as anyone's! Good luck in any games you play with it! I'd love to hear about how it does.
It did pretty well against Jund Monsters this weekend. It was difficult dealing with Xenagod, but I had enough spot removal to go 2-1 against it (most of the matches were quite down to the wire in terms of life total). I also played against Bant Superfriends... I found that I had the cards to go the distance, and focusing all my removal on Kiora, and my discard on Supreme Verdict was the key to victory. I went 1-2 against it, but one match I almost won even though they got a Kiora online and ultimate in less than 4 turns.
Side note: Ajani is SICK AWESOME!
Phased out the extra Whip, Gray Merchant & Duress - put Connections, 1 Downfall, and 1 Thoughtseize in the SB in exchange for Banishing Light and Master of the Feast. I think it will give me more flexibility in maintaining board control against fringe decks.
