Deck Description

Blue has always been known for huge creatures with giants CMCs (along with control, duh)- but who cares about CMC? This deck can get one of these giant creatures out as early as turn three! Advice is welcome so that I can achieve my quest for blue stompy.

This is more of a casual deck than anything else- I also tried to limit myself to $10 in the red box.

How to Play

A few basic notes-
You want a Quest in your opening hand- I usually mull to 4-5, but mulling to less may not be worth it since there are a good number of deck rearrangement cards in here that can help you dig.
Multiple Quests can drop multiple creatures, so don't be afraid to get multiples on the board- also remember that it triggers on your opponent's end step too.
---------------
Synergies:
If you have a creature on the top of your deck, you can pay {2} for Soothsaying's ability so that it will still be there for your next turn.
Library of Leng and Lore Broker can help you put creatures from your hand on to the top of your library.
---------------
Ideal sequence of cards would be:

Opening hand with two islands, Quest, Thrummingbird (either in opening hand or on the first draw), and a few big creatures.

Turn one, play Island + Quest
Turn two, reveal a creature and cast Thrummingbird
Turn three, reveal a creature and proliferate with Thrummingbird, dropping a fatty in the end step.

Deck discussion for Budget: Quest for Blue Stompy

Hi, nice budget deck!
I would suggest having more Soothsaying than Ancestral Knowledge, simply because of the upkeep costs.
Also, Tezzert's Gambit? It can be better than Steady Progress at times...
Oh, and with Stormtide Leviathan out, Grozoth won't actually be able to attack, so maybe some more Islandwalk fatties?
Overall great job!

The reason I chose to put more Knowledges in was because Knowledge can dig deeper, but I suppose that since 1/3 of the deck is made of creatures that it isn't necessary to dig that deep- I'll add in a Soothsaying and take out a Knowledge.
Tezzeret's Gambit is a good card, but Steady Progress is Instant Speed- An extra card for two life isn't bad at all though, so I'll put it in Gambit in to the sideboard.
Grozoth is mainly there to be a defender and to tutor for Inkwell Leviathan- The 4 mana required to make it able to attack is a little costy anyway, so I usually end up using it as a tutor+blocker.
Thanks for the feedback!

You should try out some of the new cards in Born of Gods. Like Whelming Wave :D

What about polymorph to cheat more sea creatures into play, or dizzy spell to tutor up the quest, also whelming wave is a must.
