Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

(Standard) Making use of blue's aerial threats to avoid opponent blockers. The deck is creature heavy to let Quest for Ula's Temple work at maximum efficiency. I need some suggestions on cards that will help this deck.

Of course thanks for reminding me about Halimar Depths can't believe I forgot it. Sage Owl and Ponder aren't currently standard legal so I'm going to to have to leave those suggestions sorry

If I was making an extended deck you would of course be right about ponder and sage owl and I would probably make room for them.

Hmmmmm... a creature heavyblue deck..... very unique..... I LIKE IT! :D Maybe use merfolk wayfinder instead of or with Coralhelm Commander thouh, as his highest level merfolk boost is currently useless.

Thanks I just didn't want to build another control deck for a while when I could be building a deck that's fun to play casual as well as effective. Of course I'm unsure as to how effective this will be yet. I like the thinking with the wayfinder I'll make room in the deck for it.

Does anyone have any opinions on whether I should keep the Deprives as protection from late game changing spells or just replace them with more cheap creatures?

I liked you're idea of a blue creature deck so much, that I took a stab at it myself, lol. Although mine varies quite a bit, it's still also based on Ila's Temple. for counter spells I used 2 mana leaks, 2 deprives, and 2 redirects. I also used 4 preordains instead of of only 2, seeing as scrying is a major part of making sure you put counters on Quest.

This is the build I played a few games with...
