Combine the synergistic power of elves, with the ability to rip your opponents' hands apart! Trading a little bit of elves traditional power and ramp for the sinister discarding power of black to weaken your opponents. A board full of elves and hands full of air is the way to live.
Two-part strategy:Part One: Make a whole mess of elves.Part Two: Take away your opponent's resources.Fun things to do:Get Nath out as soon as possible, then cast "Sadistic Hypnotist". Sack an elf token that Nath made by making someone discard, to Hypnotist's ability and make someone discard two cards, thus making two more elves. Keep sacking elves to make people discard, creating even more elves. Empty everyone's hands and end up with more elves than when you started.Sack an elf to "mind slash" to make someone discard a card, then use the new elf generated by Nath to make someone else discard. When the next elf shows up, tell him he'll be fine and nothing bad will happen to him, but hey here hold this "skullclamp" for me for a second...Get a bunch of druids together on the field and then activate "Gilt-Leaf Archdruid" to steal someone's entire land-base.

I have gone back and forth on this deck more than a dozen times. Sometimes it is minor tweaks and others it is huge overhauls. I could use a hand getting this back on track. It used to win a lot in my playgroup. For a while now it has been wildly inconsistent and I know it is because I can't stop screwing with it. Putting in more elves and less discard, I end up in games where I make everyone discard almost nothing. Too heavy on discard, I have no board presence. I tried to avoid "Megrim" and that lot because I thought discarding for damage would take too long, and be ineffective if they have no cards. Putting in "Gilt-Leaf Archdruid" at times seems hilarious, though I have to add more druids, and other times it feels like a distraction. What I want is a deck that empties my opponent's hands and then I swing with an army of elves. How do I get this back on track?
