The two copies of "Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet" are optional if you don't have or can't afford them. If you get him out and start using the arrows to kill your opponents creatures left and right, he can make you an army of zombies, but it's not necessary for the deck to do what it is meant for.Come to think of it, you can take out the "Grim Flayer"'s and this deck will cost less than $20. Just splice in some more green or black creatures that either have deathtouch or are just cheap, solid hitters or you can put in more kill spells or buffing spells.
Funny thing I had pointed out to me a while back, if you attach something like "Pathway Arrows" to a creature with "Deathtouch" it acts as a reusable kill-spell ;) Any amount of damage a creature with that ability deals to another creature is enough to kill it, and the arrows allow it to deal one damage to a creature. "Nature's Way" gives you another way to deal the deathtouch damage before even engaging in combat and clear the way for direct damage. Your opponent won't want to fight you in combat, which is why there are four copies of "Blossoming Defense" to protect from burn spells and to hit harder.

This is great! I love the flavor here. Pathway arrows + Deathtouch...ooooo that's so mean. ;)

The "mean"-ness of it is countered when you try to imagine the "Rancid Rats" firing the "Pathway Arrows"; I always picture it like, two rats are holding up the bow, one rat is pulling the string back and the fourth rat is placing the arrow on it. Then they fire and kill my opponnets 800 foot tall Kozilek because Magic doesn't make any @#$-damned sense sometimes. ;)
...yesyesYESI think I might proxy this deck for myself! If I like it, I might take out the Kalitas, Flayer, and Marshes....don't have $128 to spend right now ;)
Made a few little changes; added some "Rabid Bite"s to duplicate the effect of "Nature's Way". I threw in "Make Obsolete" into the sideboard, because a friend of mine already has a deck that makes infinite thopters with a broken game mechanic. Really hoping I can burn his smug ass with that one. Added a second "Evolving Wilds" to get a better chance of getting Delirium to make the Flayer and Gnarlwood bigger.
...and "Appetite for the Unnatural" to get rid of that f-ing "Panharmonicon" ;)
