The Devastator stirs and his angelic heralds rain lighting down in anticipation while a planeswalker filled with rage looks up to the heavens.
Early gamedrop monsters or your opponent's life with lightning or start waking up a Slumbering Dragon. This stage is a burn stage so don't be afraid to soak damage. Lightning Helix will mitigate any you take. Mid-gameyou should drop your angels to control the sky. Lightning Angels, Serra Avengers, and Firemane Avengers can deal great damage with evasion qualities and if you have 2 with a Firemane Avenger, you get free Lightning Helixes too. Late-gameLet Numot, the Devastator blast your opponent's lands or Ajani finish roasting them. If neither seem fast enough, then Banefire their face for 5 damage that cannot be countered or prevented. Your big boys can also be substituted in for mass numbers of smaller angels to swarm the skies. At anytime, use Browbeat to recover your hand, though if the opponent decides to takes 5 from it, its still a fair trade. If you find yourself running into Enchantments, sideboard in Leave no Trace and wipe them out all at once. Hypersonic Dragon will allow you to Banefire at the end of your opponent's turn. Disperse lets you remove a particularly big nasty before your opponent can block (or smash your face in) or bounce back Planeswalkers or enchantments to give yourself time. Alternatively, just sub in Rift Bolts to burn the foe faster.
