if thats true that majorly sucks, you got a source on the ruling for that?
Your welcome man, glad I could help
if you wanted to go more of the milling route treponation blade would work really well
too true man, too true :'(
yeh i was thnking that but its just the cost of them incomparison but i agree they are way better choices
hey tom, thought i saw this deck on the new list a few days ago, just one thing the wild pair wont work too well imo. its just if youve got a sliver in play that boosts your creatures you will be looking for creatures which power and toughness no longer match as the one in play is boosted.
just to add some food for thought if you really want draw (which well... who wouldnt draw is amazing) visions of beyond you should easily get them 20 cards in their graveyard so for 1 mana you will be drawing 3 cards.
keening stone + traumatize = insta win
personally id change alot to this deck, take out the counterspells and destroys there is no real need for them, just try and get your mill as fast as you can use your health to take hits as hopefully you will be milling faster than they will kill you, if you like take a look at my old black blue mill deck rather outdated now http://www.mtgvault.com/phoenixnight8/decks/run-of-the-mill/ or ive recently built a mono blue mill deck that works really well http://www.mtgvault.com/phoenixnight8/decks/water-under-the-bridge/well hope they give you some ideas on how to improve your deck
looks like it can stand upto alot more punishment now until you've got the control inplace
i believe her effect only lasts for as long as she is on the battlefield
if you want major defensivenes go wall of denial, flying 0/8 shroud nothing is getting through it, also personally id drop the iona's down to 2, they are high mana cost and its legendary so you dont want to be drawing to many.
seat of the synod for the land, works as another artifct and can use it for blue mana.
your welcome man, looks like a fun deck to play.
maybe story circle instead of the circle of protections? that way you can chose exactly what protection you need, no real need for the sideboard then
personally id take the black out, make it blue white easier to get the land right that way, also id take the champion of the parish out your creatures arnt all human so he wont always be getting boosted, add another seagate loremaster draw is your best friend in mid/late game. get kazandu blademaster in their a fantastic card for offensive play or defensive, get some cloudshifts in there or some liberates anything so your creatures can pop in and out of play, possibly unsummons use them for you creatures or on your opponent. more ondu clerics aswell lifegain is never a bad thing it keeps you in the game.check out my deck http://www.mtgvault.com/phoenixnight8/decks/the-alliance/ its probably not as mill/extraction heavy as yours but it wins almost ever match by milling its easy with the loremasters and constant bouncing to mill with the excavators
the issue with relic of progitenus, is the fact i cant use my graveyard to my advance as it empties all graveyards making me pointless for a few turns, could even lock me out until i discard cards inorder to discard more. scrabbling claws isnt too bad its just a shame it removes cards so slowly, the great thing about the crypt and spell bomb is they remove everything imediatly, however the claws would be great to keep around, i may stick 2 of them in. personally id rather keep the deck blue just for simplicity sakes im not sure there is that much black that would be useful for this kind of deck will look into it tho, thanks for the tips
Any suggestions??
i like it, cheers for the tip dude :)
