Deck Description

Just a Minotaur tribal deck I want to play around with because minotaurs are just pretty cool.

How to Play

Pretty basic, just build up your minotaur army. Hammer of Purphoros will give all your minotaurs haste, and power them up with Madcap Skills, Ordeal of Purphoros and Door of Destinies.

So, overwhelm your opponents with aggressive minotaurs and then finish them off with direct damage! You'll be dealing damage with each creature you cast if you have Purphoros, God of the Forge out. Playing Fanatic of Mogis should deal a lot of damage (to each opponent!) based on your 'Devotion to Red', the amount of red mana-symbols in the cost of all your permanents. Boros Reckoner, Rageblood Shaman and Hammer of Purphoros are the ones that have multiple red mana in their mana costs.

Sideboard in more burn spells and Blaze Commando if you're playing an opponent that generates a lot of creatures.

Deck discussion for Minotaurs! (Standard)

Umm, so you have black mana in your deck but not a single card that requires it. did you forget to put in Kragma Warcaller?

Well, I had Kragma Warcaller in but I took it out for the Hammers because they were just cheaper for haste and I thought that trimming it down to 2 colors would be more consistent (but I didn't change the mana base). Thanks for catching that. I've added the Warcallers back in though just because the +2 buff is pretty good. Plus I can only have 1 hammer out since they're legendary so I've gotten rid of one.
