This is an aggro deck, so the goal is to play low costing creatures, make them stronger with my other creatures, and attack early in the game, so that I overwhelm my opponent and win the game. I have thoughtseize to disrupt my opponent's hand to slow them down and I have dire tactics to disrupt their board state so I can swing in for the win.
Turn 1:I like to play my 2/1's for 1: Bloodsoaked Champion, Dauntless Bodyguard or Kytheon because i can swing in for two or three damage on turn two.I like to play my Boros Elite on turn 1 because, if can play two 2/1's on turn two, on turn 3, i can attack with all three creatures, which triggers Boros Elite's battalion ability and, as a result, makes it a 3/3.Thraben Inspector benefits me in the mid-game, as she helps me keep the tempo going with her card drawing clue tokens.Thoughtseize lets me disrupt my opponent's hand and provides me with information as to what my opponent's future plays will be.Turn 2:I like to play my 2-drop pumping creatures: Thalia's Lieutenant and Luminarch Aspirant because Thalia's Lieutenant gets stronger by the more humans i play and the Luminarch Aspirant can make one of my creatures stronger during each of my combat phases.I can also play dire tactics to remove an early threat.Turn 3:I like to play general kudro because he provides me with graveyard hate, he give my humans +1/+1, and, if i am desperate, i can sacrifice two of my humans, including him, to kill a creature with a power 4 or greater. If i have 2 or 3 creatures in play, i can convoke my Venerated Loxodon out onto the battlefield, which will give my convoked creatures a +1/+1 counter.Turn 4 and on:Continue playing disruption spells, low costing creatures, and pumping creatures, all of which will overwhelm my opponent and secure me the victory.Land:The 19 land count seems to be the standard land count for this style of deck, so I simply followed it, while also removing 4 basic land cards for 4 Brightclimb Pathway // Grimclimb Pathway model land cards, as these provide better mana fixing than basic land cards. Thanks for reading my how to play. Please like and comment below,Philosopher99
