This deck originally started out as a discard deck, but eventually turned into a Mono Black Sac deck. Mortician Beetle and Carrion Feeder are the all stars, along with Desecration Demon. I've considered including some more token generators, maybe Eldrazi ones, but the heavy amount of removal seems to work really well. Any and all suggestions for making this more competitive are appreciated. Edit: I've considered throwing in some fetchlands, like Polluted Delta, and/or Bloodstained Mire to help with thinning out the deck, but I'm still undecided. As it stands (even without Mutavaults) this deck stacks up against all of my other competitive and semi competitive decks really well, due to the heavy removal options. I foresee running into problems against mono blue counter heavy decks.
Lots of removal options. Force opponent to Sac creatures with Tribute, Devour, Edict, and Verdict. Create some 2/2 Zombos with Rebirth and Shamble. Reap the rewards of Sacrifice with Carrion Feeder and Mortician Beetle. Mid to Late game threat, drop a Desecration Demon, or 2, or 3. I've also found that Sign in Blood tends to win more games than I'd foreseen originally. Sometimes, when your opponent is at 2 health, that SIB gets the job done.

NOTE: Set by owner when deck was made.
First of all you should probably cut Hymn to Tourach since it's not even legal in modern.Wrech Mind is a decent budget substitute. Thoughtsieze and Inquisition of Kozilek should be your got to targeted discard spells tho.

I think ogre marauder would be really good for this deck
Intriguing. I think Marauder could be very effective, but where to slot it in is the question...
