This deck abuses a spell copy engine combo someone suggested to me years ago: Izzet Guildmage and Training Grounds. Training Grounds enables you to copy any instant or sorcery as long as you have a Guildmage in play for U or R respectively. It is possible to get as much as 12 or more burn damage directly to your opponent by turn 4. You can also copy some Serum Visions to reload your hand quickly as well when you need to. Copy some Titan's Strength on your Young Pyromancer or Kiln Fiend for ridiculous effect, and of course, as always, don't forget about your Delver of Secrets, who is definitely gonna flip in a deck that is this instant/sorcery heavy.
Get Izzet Guildmage and Training Grounds out ASAP. Cast a Bolt, copy it for 1 blue mana; that's 6 burn damage possible by turn 3, assuming you didn't have 2 or 3 more bolts in your hand. Cast Kiln Fiend and Young Pyromancer. Continue to abuse the Guildmage/Training Grounds copy engine. Rinse. Repeat. FTW.

Manamorphose x4 and your combo goes nearly infinite.

Oh damn... I always seem to forget about Manamorphose. Eureka! :D
I was going to suggest Manamorphose as well, as draw, mana fixing/accelerating. I'd also do Chain Lightning over one of your other burn spells. It's just more mana efficient.
Someone else suggested Lava Spike. I think I'd go with it over Chain Lightning, just because I don't want my local red meta throwing it back at me, you know?
Lava Spike + Splice on Desperate Ritual + Izzet Guildmage = If you have these three and 6 red mana (or only 4 with Training Grounds), you can do infinite damage. The Splice gives you RRR as part of the spell resolution, meaning you can copy the spell again without letting the original resolve.
Whoa... that's super spicy. I dig it. Thank for the suggestions... definitely adding to my acquire list. :D
Would you pull Mizzium Skin to make way for this. I added it so I can save those creatures, but with Lava Spike and Desperate Ritual the damage just gets so insane I don't think I'd need the hexproof!
