Deck discussion for Old school Elves

Well put together. This one is very similar to my friend's elf deck and it works really well. Have you thought about adding in seeker of skybreak? you can use it to untap any of your elves in play, like timberwatch, to use it's ability again in the same attack. Or you could use it to double the output of your wellwishers. You may also want to consider using 4 llanowar elves and taking out 4 forest. It just helps with the mana ramp. Turn 2 you could potentially have 3 mana available at your disposal instead of only 2 (and so on through your future turns). That could mean a turn 3 channeler, which could help your ramp significantly. Another 2 cards you may want to think about are elvish champion and epic struggle. The +1/+1 and forestwalk is nothing to scoff at (plus it counts as an elf as well, just it does not pump itself - if you have 2 out they pump each other and both count towards your elf count - oracle text), and epic struggle gives you a super easy secondary win scenario, especially if you have ambush commander out. Just some thoughts but overall you have a great deck already :)

yeah, eversince i started playing, iv'e always grown fond of tribal decks during the onslaught block. The way they all work together makes every card useful in several ways. I made a wizard deck but im not too sure if i got all the kinks worked out yet. It seems a bit tougher to play because of the low toughness on almost every creature.

Yea I totally understand what you're saying. The onslaught block was fantastic for many reasons including the tribal factor. My beast deck is majorly built from that block as well. As for wizards, it's all about control. Wizards aren't there to beatdown other decks like beast, elves, goblins, etc. They are there to make things a living hell for other players. It's just a different way of playing the game. Countermagic and removing things from the board. Obviously you know that from looking at what you have so far, but just keep that in mind. You aren't there to deal damage, you're there to control.
