Modern player have so many fetch lands and run Bobs which help this deck out. It lowers their life total. And when you have a low-mana curve and either Guardian of The Gateless + Touch of Moonglove combo -OR- a bunch of luttle guys and a Killimg Wave...all your Blood Artist effects go off for maybe 2-5 damage then the pay X life. Could be a board wipe or leave them Real Low!@_@
Guardian of the Gateless late game will win for you if you hold onto a Touch of Moonglove!
