Sol Rings are banned/restricted depending what format you play. If you play casual I suppose it's fine, but I feel dirty doing that. Same goes with demonic tutors. I assume since you only have 1 land and 40 cards total (minimum is 60) that you didn't include your mountain total. Overall not bad. Dragon base backed by Koth with a solid ramp to get them out. I'd cut an iron myr or two for a 4 set of the dragonspeaker shamans. Maybe cut the other two (possibly the shocks) for a card like lightning greaves? Really any enchantment/artifact that would give your cards a little less vulnerability. As they sit all of them can be taken care of by a quick doom blade, desert twister, oblivion ring, etc. Shroud or indestructibility definitely needs to be added somewhere. I'd also dump the skirk prospectors, as they're the only goblins you have, and not a good source of mana.

yeh the skirk prosperctors are there for some early creature protection only and for any needed mana. any recommendations for replacing them (i.e. with 1 mana cost)? yeh its supposed to be 21 mana. any cards you recommend for less vulnerability??also, do the dragonspeaker shamans stack?
The dragonspeaker shaman do stack. Urza's Incubator and Semblance Anvil are a couple of cards that are also decent for dropping mana cost. As for replacing skirk prospector? Bellows lizard, dragonmaster outcast, goblin chirurgeon...I don't usually do creatures if I'm playing red, so I don't know all of the good calls. But you'll want something that can be useful later on as well, and dragonmaster outcast tops that list. As for avoiding vulnerability, lightning greaves is your best bet. Your heavy dragons (save steel hellkite, which I would add another of) don't really do much other than damage. If your opponent has a creature with a toughness of over 6, you have almost no way of getting past it or dealing with it (except possibly buffing rakdos pit dragon or combining blocks with burns). Keeping your dragons alive (cards like lightning greaves) should be priority one. Followed shortly should be a way for you to kill your opponent, even if they have something like Avacyn or Darksteel Colossus on the field. Here's a few cards to consider for some field work: Balefire DragonDragon BreathDragonstormFlameblast DragonKargan DragonlordIf you had more mana or an alternative way to get cards out (quicksilver amulet?), I'd suggest Dragon Tyrant, but he's a bit high in mana cost.
