This is my first competitive deck that was completely homebrewed! I've loved Naya as a shard for a long time, and when this Keyword-filled Commander was printed, I have made 3 different versions of Samut. The first was a human tribe actually, it didn't seem to work too well. Then I tried the obvious voltron, but it didn't click. There was something more that she could do, and with the last ability, I could use that. When paired with Illusionist's Bracers and Thousand-Year Elixir, your boardstate should always have something to do!Have fun, and cast on
This deck utilizes the "thousand-year elixir" ability on Samut. There are a lot of tap abilities that you can abuse, such as Yisan, Mother of Runes, or Angel of Condemnation. Build your board with early mana rocks, mana dorks, and card advantage. Then push to set your board up with Avacyn, Sigarda, and Gratuitous Violence. Finally, the beat down.
