Deck Description

This seemed like another fun deck with mostly Theros stuff which will mean you won't lose out on much when RTR and M14 go out of standard.

This deck is all about disrupting your opponents hand, a bit of removal, and punishing your opponent for removing your own creatures. With a couple Master of Feasts thrown in for a possible early game heavy-hitter, this thing is basically the new Desecration Demon.

How to Play

There isn't much I can say that an experienced player wouldn't already know to do. Try to save Hero's Downfall for the things Bile Blight can't remove. Try and make your opponent run out of steam with a bit of discard and removal, and make sure you *don't* run out of steam via Erebos, Whip, Pain Seer, and Xathrid Necromancer.

Deck discussion for B/W Theros Aggro/Control

Suggestion, swapping out Pain Seer with Tormented Hero. It would suck top decking a 5 cost card and eating the damage on Pain Seers untap step.

Maybe. Tormented Hero would certainly be good for being a 2/1 on one mana, and it's interaction with Xathrid Necromancer. But the only 5cmc card is the Dictate of Erebos, and there are plenty of ways to restore the life being lost ie Fiendslayer, and the Whip.

But don't get me wrong, I totally see where you're coming from, and I've definitely been considering tormented hero.

right on. I run a black white humans deck that works really well. Gets me a lot of top 4s at local events. Check it out
