Optimize your mana curve, with efficient creatures and direct damage (mostly 1 and 2 cost spells-this allows use of fewer lands -15) ankh works perfectly as 3 lands is pleanty to run the whole game on, and can end up dealing anywhere between 4-8 damage(or more if the opponent last) by the time the game ends jackal pups are optimized through board control and skullclamps continuous spellcasting is accomplished through skullclamps and possibly browbeat, especially where all creature sac for 2 cards to the skullclamp in essence the deck puts deck continuity, card efficiency, and mana efficiency to the fullest making it a very fast deck while NEVER relying on any singular cards (other than maybe skullclamp a little, but this still is minor)

Instead of Jackal Pup, why not run Goblin Guide? The Ankh would deal them 2 damage for accepting their basic land from the Goblin Guide.
