I've come up with a discard deck myself and am still trying to make it better but you've had some interesting Ideas that I'd be willing to try out myself like the Nyxathid. I've also got some Ideas for you though such as Painful Quandary and Quest for the Nihil stone, or some cheep discard cards that have no drawbacks like funeral charm or Mire's toll even though it's a sorcery. My only worry though is that you won't have enough creatures to block an opponents creatures. Good luck with the deck.
