Deck discussion for Mardu Dragons post BFZ

The thing with arcbond, would it deal the damage before or after the creatures would hit you? With soulfire, i'd have to check but if the damage to you would kill you, not sure if the lifelink would save you, even while probably killing soulfire.

What I'm thinking, if they're going for they're alpha strike, it will likely be lethal to you. If they're building up to alpha strike you, I like crux of fate on the main board much more because with this many dragons, that card should win you the game.

Also have you considered adding deflecting palm. The key to its success is letting the other play know you have it. They will be much more wary about swinging early with a big creature and likely wait until they either cant wait any longer or the attack would be lethal. This buys time for crux of fate to be drawn. If your against a deck that doesn't have the ability to alpha strike for lethal(maybe a wide deck), then I love arcbond as a surprise but against big creature decks, I think it will cause more draws than wins with crux.

I also think wild slash should be sideboard in favor of more removal. Maybe 2 duress. Love radiant flames against wide decks or token decks. Also, instead of DL Kologan in main, put him in sideboard against decks with lots of multiples(that 10 life thing) and sub in Sarkhan instead. I think he makes a nice replacement for Stormbreath. Plus, if you decided to add end hostilities to the main or sideboard, add 3x Sarkhan to main, make him indestructable, and waste the field.

Thanks for your input. I love playing Arcbond (mostly personal preference) and most of the meta here in my place is green based. Most times arcbond is unplayable in some draws. When I play arcbond, It's more of a timed play. I make them fell for my "trap", when they go lethal. I don't think much if soulfire dies. I just need the instant "boardwipe" + lifelink effect from Soulfire. I had one match when he attacked all his crits together with gaia's revenge. Blocked gaia with soulfire then arcbond it. I gained around to 40+ life total and devastated his field.

And yeah I have considered playing deflecting palm. My deck is still on testing stage. I'm still open for suggestions ;)

I added Sunscorch Regent to my list as well for the late game growth and life gain. How has he performed for you?

I also added Hidden Dragonslayer which is a hidden big threat removal(would sideboard him against aggro), plus a 3/2 lifelinker after flipping.

Sunscorch regent performed well in late games. But due to mana requirements of this dragon, sometimes its a bit awkward to play. Maybe due to the new manabase and no scry lands. Hidden dragonslayer is great too vs eldrazi and burn. I moved transgress the mind in main to sideboard. Its only good vs control and big creature matchup. I added 1 Sakrhan, TDS in main and fixed the manabase strictly mardu colors.
