Deck discussion for Effective Elves

I 'd consider replacing 'Drove of Elves'. Since you have many staff with mana cost 4 or more, you won't have out as much green permanents in most of the game as you think (also consider 6 colorless mana artifacts and all lands). Yes, it also have hexproof, but what is it for when your other Elfs don't, what makes you w/o power and toughness. This Elf works better with token-army versions of Elven decks with cards like Elvish Promenade, Lys Alana Huntmaster and Imperious Perfect.
I 'd replace it with 2x Imperious Perfect and 2x Ezuri, Renegade Leader, because this guy just wins the game, often in the round he comes into play. It also improves your Mana curve and brings new options for your 2nd turn if you played Elvish Mystic on 1st.

Check my version of Elves. It's not in modern, I play it for fun, but still...

Imperious Perfect doesn't really help towards the goal with this deck. But I see your point about Drove of Elves' worth. I think I'll put in two Ezuri and two Jagged Scar Archers Instead of Drove. Thanks.

I'm not that big of a fan of Door in here it doesn't have the instant power drop like Coat of arms. If it gave counters that would be better here but it gives +1/+1 not counters. It's gonna be a turn 4 or 5 card not giving you very much benefit till 6 in most cases unless you ramp into it while having sufficient elves left to cast. I would suggest cutting both of them and -2 Forced Adaption to +4 Ranger's Guile. This will provide some much needed protection in a meta game with so much spot removal.
Examples of some things it will stop are.
Slaughter Pact
Path to Exile
Lightning bolt
Deathmark
Smother
Doom blade
Go for the throat
Punishing fire
Terminate
Lightning Helix
Victim of Night
Putrefy
Mortify
Maelstrom Pulse
Dismember
Oblivion Ring
Sudden Death
