Thanks. I put a lot of effort into building this deck and I'm pretty pleased with the end result

I am especially concerned with the matchup against Abzan Midrange. I think I can handle it after sideboarding, but I am not sure what to take out of the Main Deck. Any advice on this deck would be greatly appreciated.

would two copies of Doom Blade work in place of Read The Bones?

Thank you for your input. I'm on the fence about Underworld Connections, but I put in Read The Bones because of the Scrying. I have been considering replacing the two copies of Underworld Connections with another two Hero's Downfall. I've also been wondering if it's a good idea to move the two Duress to the Sideboard and put the two Thoughtseize in the Main Deck. I'm not too worried about Aggro at my local Meta (since only about three people at my LGS really play Aggro). I was thinking of swapping the two Mana Confluence for two Temple of Silence since this deck can really hurt itself with life loss already. Any thoughts?

Cool. With an Artifact heavy deck, I would suggest watching out for two cards. Hurkyl's Recall and Retract.

Witchbane Orb is a good idea (you don't want to go to all this trouble just to have them mess it up with their spells). I definitely like Sunblast Angel in this deck.

I'm not a big fan of it either. I like that thoughtseize got reprinted but not much of the block itself really jumps out at me.

Awesome. I love playing with and against annoying decks. They usually make for an interesting game. Just a thought, but I personally find Gigadrowse to be very annoying (although it does require a sizable investment of blue mana). If you don't mind using older cards, Death stroke does the same thing as Assassinate (although it costs two black mana) which could be useful when combined with Gigadrowse. For the Sideboard, I would suggest Stronghold Discipline (again an old card) To really mess up token decks. I would only use it if it hurts them more than you though.

Thank you very much for your input. I put Ashiok in the sideboard rather than the Main Deck because I wasn't sure how it would perform. I am a big fan of it's abilities though. I haven't got my hands on Daxos or Mindreaver yet, but Psychic Intrusion certainly interests me. I'm thinking of moving to a U/B Control deck after rotation. It is a lot of cash but thankfully I already own these cards except for Hero's Downfall. I'm not looking forward to trying to keep the deck alive post rotation. Lol

You're doing very well with your English. Thank you very much for your help. I put 2 Elspeth in the Main Deck. I also put 2 Cyclonic Rift in the sideboard. I now have Mutavault and Ashiok at 3. I also put Aetherling at 2.

Oh yeah! I completely forgot about Mutavault. Thanks for the tip. I'm not sure whether or not to run a playset. How many would you recommend?

I'm hoping to use it to give the cards in my graveyard the assassin type so that I can use Scarblade Elite's ability more than I could without Ashes of the fallen. By my calculations, I could use it seven times at most.

Cheers for the advice. I was going to use 3 copies of Vampire Nocturnus but I replaced him with an extra Bloodghast, Pulse Tracker and Vampire Lacerator. If I'm going to be honest, I have the Sengir Vampires in here because I really like the card. He's not terribly useful

Thanks for the comment. I would have to agree that countersquall is a good idea. I'm never too concerned at a deck's price (within reason) as I just put more expensive decks together over a longer period of time. That being said, I do have a tendency to create decks that are a little unfocused. If I want this deck to be competitive, I should probably work out exactly what I want it to do.

You both have excellent points. Legacy is something that I would very much like to be a part of. Having said that, making an EDH deck out of this one would be heaps of fun and would allow me to put in a bunch of cards that I had to previously remove.

@NicolBolasTM: I wanted to make sure that I could have a diverse range of cards that still worked with the overall strategy. The problem is that it's a tradeoff. If I have no copies then I have a far smaller chance of drawing vital cards, but each copy I put in the deck has to push something else out. I haven't tested the deck yet but I've been building it for quite a while. The swamps are seperate because each one is from a different expansion. I wanted to have a varied group of swamps because I love the artwork.

@Hacheam: I'm certainly interested in EDH but if I can make the deck powerful enough, I really want to play Legacy.
