And i'm not the only one who twincasts glimpse. http://gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/Discussion.aspx?multiverseid=191322 Got some other good advice on there for mill decks if you wanted to check it out.
What, you can totally copy the effect even if you are the one that just cast it. Twincast targets and copies ANY target instant or sorcery spell, it doesn't have any qualms about who just cast it.
Effing... What you need is Twincast. My friend has a deck with Glimpse/Twincast, 20 cards in one turn. I give up rather quickly.
I'm not actually going to buy this deck. I was just looking at what a deck from Beta looks like, see how it compares to today.
Definitely drop the Juggernauts for the Battlesphere. And I was going to suggest more Shape Anews for the Vigil for the Lost. The Reservoir would be useful, i'd probably add 2 for your Venser's to be honest. Simply because Venser doesn't seem to fit in this deck. And you should probably some Vigil for the Losts in, simply for infinite health.
It's not that good. Firstly, Jace would never stay in play that long, he's too much of a target. And with 3 loyalty counters, he's well within lightning bolt range. Secondly, that's way too many mana that comes into play tapped. Even accepting that you'd probably have a Plains or Island out, so your glacial fortress isn't tapped, you still have, 8 lands coming into play tapped. On the subject of lands, you seem to have 26 lands there, and test drawing your deck, i was mana flooded 4 out of 6 times. I'd encourage some fetchlands, in particular Flooded Strand, instead of Seachrome Coast and Celestial Colonnade. Also, i guess i don't see the point of your Sphinxes. They kinda suck. There are better cards that cost less. Besides that, your spells go together well, and Etched Champions are good cards.
That's what I thought, because I used to do the same type of thing with a pay (1) gain one life when a spell was cast with infinite mana for infinite life. But on the Gatherer website, someone mentioned that it wasn't allowed. My personal opinion is to allow it, i believe that wizards is just saying 1:1 mana to myr ratio.
Personally, i would remove the Heartmenders in favor of Vector Asps. The Heartmenders are good defense for you, but unless you're fighting someone else that has an infection deck, they don't have much purpose. Vector Asps on the other hand cost 1, and they stay in the "infection" idea. With Kulrath Knight and Contagion Engine you've basically stopped any opposition. Very awesome. My only other comment would be a question, why is Mimic Vault there?
Not to poke a hole in this, but this doesn't create infinite Myrs. The Myrsmiths ability is a triggered ability, so you can only do it once the trigger happens. And because you aren't infinitely playing spells, you aren't infinitely gaining Myrs. However, you are infinitely gaining mana. Which i'm totally putting that combo in my Artifact deck.
