I personally can't wait to use the dial outside of standard.
Im a personal fan of adding mycosynth wellsprings to blue/white decks to mana fix, if you have a Venser. Also, even though its mana heavy, Im a huge fan of Phyrexian Ingester with Venser and Mimic vat, for the sheer removal factor, and the bossing big creatures.
Now, when goblins come IN my opponents die. Dralnus Crusade plus Noxious Ghoul.
Ha ha ha. Ya. It was after a discussion wtih a friend (Mr Lunden) that I chose to go all nonbasics. I actually picked up all the commander decks. played them for a few weeks. Loved them. Now only one of them is still together :P
Totally forgot about that ><
I like the painful quandry idea. Glad you enjoyed the Rule of Law/Venser combo. Its going in every blue white deck I make from now on. One of my favorite things I have thought up. I like Painful Quandry. And Torpor Orb. I normally run O-Rings with Venser, so I forgot about it
I want to see a certain demigod... right MEOW
Gabe wont let me tell you where it is. He thinks you need to grow up and EARN that V card.
Why do you think this doesn't have a win condition...
I like the deck, but your sun titan arguement, wouldn't field marshal still be applicable? The buff and the first strike are so cost efficient its silly. But as I said, I like the deck. Would enjoy playing against it.
With daru spiritualist, you can hit that stupid white legacy win condition with this deck.
I like it! Build it...
Like it for a beginning effort. Need some way to expound on the extra mana from morsel though
Front-line Strategist and Stormfront Riders together as suppose to deal with any combat I CAN'T handle. Also causes me to be able to drop indefinite soldiers. And Dolmen Gate means that infect doesn't matter is long as Im on the offensive. So I got defense and offense against infect covered. Only poison counters via spell would irritate me :P
Vesuvas would have actually been a decent deck :P
http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=130713 Force of Savagery is one of the many reasons I know it works. "5/1/2007 Yes, Force of Savagery has 0 toughness. It will be put into its owner's graveyard as a state-based action immediately upon entering the battlefield unless an effect puts it onto the battlefield with a counter on it (such as Chorus of the Conclave would) or a static ability boosts its toughness (such as Glorious Anthem would). A triggered or activated ability that boosts toughness won't have its effect fast enough to save it." And I am very aware of why you would put the soul warden. Its the same reason I use angelic chorus. Mind just gives me a more massive buffer since I would be gaining alot more life per creature. I can understand the confusion, however.
Ha ha ha. I actually might add Emeria. It slipped my mind. I do not need a soul warden though. I have angelic chorus for that. Gives me more life, considering the buffs. Its why I have both that and darien in there. Glad we are on the same page. :P
Not meant to be. I've always loathed drawing the same thing consistently. So I mix it up, and dont use alot of playsets. Suggestions are always welcome, however.
