Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

One variation of the classic Rock deck. Removal, disruption, mana acceleration and big creatures, which are hard (or impossible) to kill. It also has some recursion (Recurring nightmare) and alternate win condition - Haunting echoes. If you're playing on a budget, Recurring nightmare can be replaced with Vigor Mortis (but it is much worse solution). Treetop village is also a good option.

Deck discussion for Classic Rock

I like it, but...

Needs more Verdant Catacombs. Especially with Balroth.

I think Kokusho is better than Spirit Monger.

GB rock and no Eternal Witness? No Tarmagoyf? No black card draw?

Or you can play my ~ $900 Standard Deck:

If only I had $900, lol.

Thanks for comment, man. Yeah, I would gladly put Tarmogoyf in deck - if I only had 4 of them. On the other hand, I have some Catacombs! Yay! The list here is similar to the classic Rock list that was played during the old extended (Tempest - Kamigawa) with some older cards, like Hymn to Tourach. When I sat classic, I refer to the style of play: disruption, Deed, big creature and some utility.
