This is a commander I wanted to try out, since, I myself, like creatures power 5 or greater.
I'll say this now, I don't have any Eldrazi to put in this deck. They're kinda a party foul anyway. The top ranked creatures in play so far:1) Avacyn, Angel of Hope2) Craterhoof Behemoth3) Hateflayer4) Windbrisk Raptor5) Elvish Piper6) Sylvan Primordial

The biggest thing about Mayael is going to be consistency. You want at least 25 fatties (creatures with power 5 or greater) otherwise you will find yourself missing more often than you would like. Another thing that you would probably want is library manipulation. Cards like Scroll Rack can be amazing with Mayael. If you are looking for cards that could help, you can take a look at my list in the link below, and let me know if you have any questions.http://www.mtgvault.com/homer127112/decks/mayael-the-anima-edh/

fattie count: 24I would love to get my hands on sensei's top or a scroll rack, but the reality is i dont got 'em. I don't mind much though, as this will be a casual deck.
Also, how does the trigger with Illusionist's Bracers on Mayael go off?
Basically, you get 2 activations, 1 after another. You look at the top 5, grab a creature. Then, do it again.
I might recommend Quicksilver Amulet or Dragon Arch but that's only if you find you are having trouble getting creatures out early.
with the ramp in here, i don't plan on it
Depending on how much landfall you have at play here, you might consider adding in a Ruin Ghost. Pay one white and tap it to blink a land. This allows you to activate landfall at will.
I count one landfall creature. If Ruin Ghost was a stronger creature i'd consider it, but keeping the tempo in this deck is really important. There's really not much use of him with this deck.
Gotcha. I'd posted this before I finished looking through the deck. As soon as I see Admonition Angel, I think of my favorite little ghostie. lol
woolly thoctar?
Great card, but not very powerful EDH material
