Thanks for the replies. Liliana of the Veil is awesome but is out of my budget atm. I'd like both her and Dark Confidant in the deck at some point. After playing a game or two I agree with you on Blightning. Did find land to be a bit of an issue though. You reckon the Graven Cairn style lands would be worth using to filter the right colours?

I'd suggest swapping Honor of the Pure out for Crusade. Not only is it better for Devotion, but its Elspeth themed. SO nothing but pluses there. Would also half both of the Leylines and Heliod in favour of some more creatures. All your tokens aren't generating any devotion for Heliod. Auriok Champion might be a good fit and would help with the Soul Sister style thing you got going on.As for the sideboard, Kataki, War's Wage is a good choice for white decks.

It's an interesting style of deck, but I feel like you rely too much on the opponent playing an aggro strategy. 'Course if you know for a fact that that is what you'll be playing then go for it. Dega has a lot of good Instants and Sorceries that I think you should swap out some enchantments for. Lightning Helix and Path to Exile are two that come to mind. Curse of the Pierced Heart is quite weak so that'd be my suggestion.
Looks great, but it's a bit slower than what I would like for my own =]
Cheers to you both. I'll try out two Balefire Lieges over the Legion Initiative's in my next game. The other decks in the play group are slow enough that 5 CMC spells are doable, but anything above that isn't reliable enough. I'll see about exchanging the Slayer's Stronghold's for two Sacred Foundry's too. Arid Mesa is a bit out of my price range unfortunately.
It started off as standard and I'm trying to make it viable for modern. Any suggestions?
Need more Dragonskull Summits and Blackcleave Cliffs =D
Need moar path to exiles
Sideboards too big noob omg
What tournament are you actually playing this in?
You need more Islands =D
Casual 1 vs 1 mainly. Might play the odd multiplayer game, but not often enough that I should change the deck to fit that.Anowon seems great. You'd suggest swapping Drana out for him, or a perhaps one of the Gatekeepers maybe?
I find it hard to critique due to it being a budget deck, but I can say that you don't seem to have very many heavy hitters at all which could be an issue. Nighthawk is great but he doesn't do much damage by himself.
Hey, thanks for the critique. Any suggestions on what to swap out for them?
