The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Multiplayer Storm deck with community designed Magic card "Waste Not" as the centerpiece. My friends love to play multiplayer, and I don't have very many decks suited for multiple targets. I also wanted to use the Community card designed by us: the MTG players and fans!! I hope you all enjoy this little idea.Deck inspired by Kevin Crimin from GatheringMagic.Edit: I wanted to keep the deck under $100, otherwise the land would have been fixed differently. Suggestions are welcome.
Since I'm not sure how sideboards work for Multiplayer, I have put some general answers to things I saw as problematic in the main deck (i.e. skullcrack for damage prevention and dash hopes for any troublesome spells). As this is multiplayer, things are slowed down a bit. You are not really looking for the turn 3 win so you can relax early on. You want a Waste Not on the field as well as a Guttersnipe before you try and combo off. Guttersnipe is your main win-con. You set up a Waste Not and then build up mana through your rituals. Burning Inquiry and Reforge the Soul cause mass discarding triggering Waste Not many times. These triggers will be erratic and different every time, but as a general rule the earlier in the game you force a discard, the more likely it will be a land. Use these triggers to draw, gain mana, and get creatures. Use your cards to build up your storm count, draw into more cards, and produce more mana to cast them. Then when all is said and done, drop a Grapeshot. If you've used a bunch of your spells, there's always Past in Flames to recast your spells from the graveyard; this happens more than you might think. Often you can fill your graveyard in previous turns with mini-storm threats, then you drop a Past when you wish to combo. It's just typical storm stuff with the added effect of a Guttersnipe doing global shock damage for each spell in order to hit multiple opponents.Note: Once picked up on, the Guttersnipe will receive a lot of hate. Be wary of leaving him on the battlefield for a few turns before comboing. Note: Reforge the Soul is also a useful way to refill your hand in addition to its discard effect.Note: Due to some randomness with Waste Not and Burning inquiry, this deck is not guaranteed a win (nor is any deck for that matter). I find that it is okay to not come away with the win every time. I enjoy the little synergies experienced in this deck and hope that you all will too. Does the unexpected not help to make this game interesting?
