I'm glad to here you like it! I was looking to make a cheap Nekusar deck with a lot of draw engines.Well of Ideas is a must for that price, and while Howling Mine was originally out of my price range I have since made room for it.Changes: - Essence Scatter- Ghoulcaller Gisa+Howling Mine+Well of Ideas

I've been playing Magic for about 2 years now and have been following your decks on here for about as long! I just want to thank you for your contribution to my MTG experience and ask that you don't stop that brilliantly creative mind of yours for a long time. I look forward to seeing many of your decks in the future. I thank you for the inspiration you have brought to this community, and the impact you've made on all of our Magic: The Gathering lives.Keep building, keep posting, keep playing. You are appreciated.
Also put in 4 wooded foothills in order to thin out the mana a bit. It will reduce the amount of mana in my deck without reducing the amount I can draw. Pulling out a few mana will increase my chances of drawing the other cards I need.
Ok, Valakut has been removed as have a couple of Guttersnipes. Goblin Guide has been added (he's hella expensive). The other three drops I need for card draw and more token generating. I'm now at a 20/20/20 look with a reasonable (imo) mana spread. I'm not too worried about the lack of one drops. I wont be slowed down too much; it's only turn one once.Thank you for taking a look!!!!!
I wanted Hydroform in there for its ability to make a land into a creature (if only for a turn), but upon a second look, yes, it must go.I dropped Snapcaster completely. He was too expensive monetarily for my taste. I instead went 4's for the draws and added in 2 reclaims. Sideboard:3 Kor Firewalker added (great call)1 Angels Mercy (I haven't played against too many storms, but just in case)
Help is appreciated. I want this deck to be slightly competitive. If you have any replacements for Snapcaster I'd appreciate it ($165 is pretty steep).
Go Black and Blue if you want to control and stall out for your combo.Go Black and Green if you want to buff and ramp into your combo.Either way, I would have Black in this deck for sure.Vampire Hexmage is too good with Dark Depths for it to not be in there.(Personally I would black and blue with control)
Specter, if you were to replace the Warden's with something as simple as Elvish Mystics1) Your deck is now $9 cheaper2) Your deck is not slowed at all3) Elvish Mystic can even tap for a landThe same argument could be made for a lot of other cards in the place of the Warden.Hopefully others will comment on the deck.
Vampire Nighthawk over Wall of Bone or Basilica Guards for a flying attacker....plus Vampire Nighthawk...just bae
Mainly in creature removal.
Corpsejack Menace? Personally my favorite card!
I'd thought about Birds of Paradise or maybe some Llanowar Elves, but I'm not entirely sure about the need for extra mana.. Other than boosting Savageborn, what other need have I? There's already enough ramp in my creatures, and there's also the posibility I don't get the Hydra in which birds of paradise can only deal damage after a boost.. Should I still drop two Tracer's for Birds?
Thank you both for the suggestion! Updates have been made.
My local group plays legacy, however, i appreciate the tip!
Looking to add some decent life gain, any suggestions?
Predatory Ooze, perhaps?
More Oran-Rief = better consistency!!!
Agreed ^ hopefully WotC will print more gorgons in the upcoming setsAlso, Sisters of stone death? High mana cost but deadly once cast...Edit: forgot it had to be standard...
I remember liking this deck wayy back in August! Good to see it again! The only suggestion I could make for you would be possibly inserting Evil Twin; it's the same ability and mana cost as Clone except that it also has the potential to destroy the other creature...
Thanks!! Sadistic Sacrament has been added, and the Jar+Disk would be marvelous, however I don't quite see it fitting in w/ this deck..Thank you for your suggestions!
